Internet and Online Safety

The online world can be a dangerous place for our children. Social network sites like Facebook and MySpace are now the norm for teens, pictures are being taken and emailed via cell phone cameras and sexual predators lurk in online chat rooms. However, if used properly, the internet can be a valuable educational tool and a great source of entertainment for our children and the entire family.

The Child Safety Task Force aims to identify and promote best practices for online safety as well as educate parents on this issue. Below you will find a variety of resources to keep your children safe while they’re surfing the web.
